Dual itunes

Is there anyway of running two different itunes libraries off the same pc? So the gf can have her songs and i can just have mine on the 2 different ipods?

I use two with the mac, one for music and one for video.
But its not the same as a pc so i wont bother posting how.

I think the easiest way is to just have a playlist for each of you, then just make the iPod's only update that playlist.

Yep thats the easiest way although you don't even have to do that - just copy in the tunes you want into the iPod you want...absolutely no need to have "dual iTunes" - you can't do that anyway!
 
You could hold down shift as you open iTunes, and then you can select a different library, create a new library etc.

Not sure if there are third party switchers for Windows.. defo is for OSX.

aye thats what i was thinking, its pretty s**t that you cant, wish you could use the ipod without having to use itunes, would be good if it just came up as a harddriver or something.
 
Different libraries are easy to use and lots of good reasons for doing it, this is the main one when you have two of you that want to keep things separate!
