Revels Mum & Sister
Pointless video's. When car mag's do the test, they pick a circuit/driver/conditions that suit the car, vive versa the bikes.
Ultimate v ultimate, I doubt any race bike would match an F1 car.
Exactly. So over a lap, doesn't stand a chance.Top end of a MotoGP bike is akin to an F1 car IIRC. Corners the bike doesn't have a chance.

So thats 40....THOUSAND pounds for a bike!!!
Tho like the guy said in the vid its pretty much a road going race bike.

Thats a good vid,but the car is a bit extreme where as the bike is an everyday one...
What i meant was everyone goes out and can buy a gsxr 1000.The westfield is a rather specialist vehicle...
Love both the vehicles here. The Desmo is spectacular!
It's always good seeing the difference on the track between bikes and cars. For me, the biker has the tougher job; I reckon most performance bikers could handle the car very well but not so much the car driver on the bike.
For example...
Rossi v Schumacher
Rossi would get close in the F1 race but would kill Schumacher in the bike.
First of all, no. Rossi would not get close to schumi in an f1 car. When experienced racers can do terribly in the rarri, ie fisi, Schumi would leave rossi for dead over a race distance. Secondly, of course it's easier for most bikers, they most likely drive cars every day. How often will lewis etc be on a bike?
You've obviously never been on a GSXR1000...
