Dumd question

Is the battery charging when the engine is idling???? A mate reckons it only charges at higher revs, i need to know if it charges when idling for TV + PLAYSTATION reasons!!! I thought it did

Of course it is!! Unless it is fully charged already. The alternator is the charger and its kinda like a Wheatstone brige set up..if it needs charging it will charge it and if it doesnt it wont.

Not sure but it should be at 12V when switched off and when running be between 13-14.5V ish.. maybe somebody else will give you a better figure.

yep u should run at 14.4v when the engines on
