'dust' on my 172 after a clean and wax??

On Friday night I washed my car using AG shampoo and finished with AG aqua wax,

Saturday morning my car has a light dusting on it, I know its hot atm and my car is black (dirt shows so easy) but what can I do to stop this happening?

Its pretty annoying it looks like my car is dirty again

Nothing.

Unfortunately this time of year there's a lot of pollen/dust in the air.

If its not too bad you could QD it or if its bad, wash it again.

FinishKare 425 has Anti-Static properties, apparently. Maybe worth a go.

yeah I had a feeling it would be that..... shame there isn't much I can do

I also live just about on the coast so I guess that doesn't help

chances are you have built up static charge while washing it and all small particles become attracted in a dust like fashion, as above I think anti static formulars are worth a shot, I use antistatic stuff on my dash otherwise every little bit of crap attaches itself to that after a clean

Not everyone lives in a CS mansion, never had a house with a garage. Outside next to the oak trees is as good as it gets. Even the motor bike has to put up with a cheap shed.

Have you considered a car cover? Obviously not really suitable if its parked on the road, but If you have it on a drive way it would look ok.
