Dvd headunit + Break Cable?

Which cable is the one that tells my car it's moving? Basically I want it so it will play dvds when I'm driving too so I can impress my girlfriend with Micheal Jackson Numbers 1's... Oh yes!

Apparently some cable tells the player I'm moving and needs to be chopped?

If you earth the hand brake wire it should fool the player into thinking your always parked.

It's very easy. Do you have the manual? Find the wire that is labeled handbrake. Rather than connect it to the handbrake wire just, earth it instead.

All the cables are labeled up thankfully! I'll give that a go when I'm in the car and let you know how I get on

what headunit is it ?

If its a ripspeed one, you dont even have to bother. If you go into the setup, then general setup, then click parking and turn it off. Simple!

They have to put that parking button on because apparently you can use that CD/DVD on a boat, and boats dont have handbrakes!

Just to remind you though mate, it is illegal to drive whilst having a screen playing a movie. It distracts blah blah blah......
So just be careful!
