DVD playback problems on PS3

My bloody ps3 wont play any dvds in colour for some reason on my tv is there any settings i can change im using the composite cables.

is there any settings on the ps3 it self or???? how do the cables come out of the ps3 - composite??

Yeh the cable out of the ps3 is composite cables then they go into a scart thing, theres loads of settings on the ps3 it says the input i think it is is hdmi i tried changing it but it wont let me .

is there a little switch on the scart connection to the tv. sometimes there is a RGB setting and things like that on them.

can you change ay settings in the PS3?

Just went and tried it on the hdtv in lounge and it works in colour, guess its just my tv all my games work in colour though.

Normally would suggest a bad connection on the video (yellow) lead. But if you say the games work i dunno
