dynamique engine problems

Bought a new car today, well i am saying new, 54 plate 1.2. Got it at a decent price and took it for a test run, all seemed fine, oil seemed fine etc.. On the way home i noticed that when i press the accelerator it starts juddering a little bit, i take my foot off and it stops.

When turning right into a street, slowing down and putting it in second it would judder quite a bit as if i had put it in 4th going 10mph. Got a friend to have a drive and i did not think anything of it, but the cheeky t**t had put a piece of paper on the dash where the engine lights are etc.. took it off not thinking and the engine light was on! Looked through the handbook and it says the engine is over heating probably because of coolant. I went straight to get some engine coolant as it was quite low looking inside the container and it took quite a bit to fill it up. The engine light had gone off and it seems to run better now, going to take it out again tomorrow but there still seems to be 'something' there when i am accelerating but not as bad as it was.

Anyyy idea what it could be?

Did you have a lack of power? Lack of throttle response?
Could be a mixture of things really - Coil Pack, Leads, Poor fuel, Lambda (o2) Sensor...

Best thing to do is to get a diagnosis done on it.

most dealers will keep em on the shelf, very common

Got it sorted friday, went to a guy a family friend new, he went through everything he could plugging it into a few different machines, found out it was the ignition leads, as he is mobile the garage he happened to be working at that day had one in, swapped it round and it ran nice and smooth.
£80 all in, so really £40 for the part and £40 he was charging for the diagnostic. sound okay?
