e-bay should i report?

i brought a case for my phone last friday and payed straight away by paypal, the postage was first class.
i still have not recieved the item, i did'nt expect the item on monday but i would have thought it should be here by now though, i have sent him 3 e-mails and not had a responce to any.
should i report this now or leave it for a couple more days? and how do you go about getting a refund off paypal, and how long does it take?

you have to wait a month i think befor ebay will act upon any complaints your best bet is to e-mail the guy everyday asking where your case is!

don't know if the item has been sent out yet as i am not getting any responce to my e-mails, and i forgot about the postal strikes so i hope that is all it is.

Give it till monday. Don't go reporting it yet, as even if they have posted it and it arrives, they could leave you negative feedback for being impatient and opening a dispute for an item that is caught up in the postal strike! Blame royal mail!

I had exactly the same, ipod case, paid immeciately by paypal, that was 26th JUNE and nothing, no reply to emails nothing. Have lodged a dispute with paypal, and still no reply and they are still trading, judging by the feedback that continually comes along! Oh and now he has 11 or so people who have not received stuff as well this month.

Give it at leat a week. If you paid straight a way then he probably would leave you +feedback straight away. Some peeps are just slow getting to the post office.

id give it till wedneday, as that allows time for it to be posted and delivered and with all of the postal stikes.

Not replying to your messages is odd, in any event wait till the start of next week. Unless the seller has sent it via a traceable method you should be able to get your money back from paypal, that is if the funds are available from the seller. Also with 1st class the seller can claim up to £34 (they will recieve their refund in stamps) back providing they have the proof of postage, so they don't really have any reason not to refund you as they will get some sort of return. I can't remember how long they have to wait for that refund, but as a seller its their responsibility till the item arrives with you.

check the POSTAGE date on the stamp when you get it...

How long does he say he will take to post it, as i always put, "will be posted within 5 working days" on my auctions, thus giving me a week to post it.

don't say how long to post and he is a power seller so i would have expected him to be on quite a lot.

Mine was a titanium seller, it doe'nt seem to matter....

If you click on the page of the phone case/cover you bought it it will say congratz on buying this blah blah, click on the left it will say item information then it will say when/if the item as dispatched and what day.

Good Luck if not open a debate about it then ebay will send a message to them, and then send you one back, you should get refund.
