Earmarked £1500 for my 172 Ideas guys?

  Jap Shed
going on a 3 month holiday to Afgan and I want to spend £1500 on the car when I get back, Its totally standard. priority is suspension..:S

???

i did the same recently

H&R coilovers, trophy wheels, full exhaust system, and brake setup is what i did.

itb's are winners. You can keep your coilovers. a standard setup handles well enough unless your on the track all day

Would people just say a decent set of springs and uprated shocks for non track use then if you dont need the massive drop?

I dont think you can go wrong with a set of Eibach springs and Koni shocks if you want to uprate for road use.

If you want it a bit lower and slightly harder , Apex springs and the Koni's.

Coilovers good for track use but overkill for just road use

Overkill for road use!!!! You lost the fu*kin plot or what. Ever driven a decent road car on decent coilovers??? Apex and koni's= cheap suspension. I wouldnt even bother with it. Id rather keep the standard stuff. Coilovers is the only way suspension should be upgraded. Its called doing it properly!

got them. pirellis.

AKA ditchfinders. Mine had brand new Pirellis on it when i bought it; i literally threw them away as it felt horrible. Have Conti Sports now and its at least 100 x better :)

What pirelli's im thinking of getting some p zero nero's soon , had p6000 on my 306 rallye and they were ditchfinders lol.

Agree with Dan, i had sportlines on before H&R's and its so much better again:cool:
