Ears still ringing

Went up to RWS for practice this afternoon.

The formula Renaults were loud, but nowhere near as loud as the F1.
Stood 4 feet away from it on programmed rev sync, even with fingers in ears it was unreal.

i was lucky enough to get that close to a ferrari f1 car at a 360 challange day a couple of years ago they sound stunning but so bloomin loud... standing on the pit wall as it fly past at silly speeds merely feet away was one of the most exhilerating things i have ever experienced!

I went to the NHRA Nationals at a raceway not too far from our house.

As I was taking my seat in the stand a top fuel drag car came past on his way to a 4.65sec 1/4 mile - I have never heard anything that loud before in my life, my eyes shook and chest rumbled - Amazing!
