hi all need my altenator replacing aswell as getting my Cambelt and other things done.

I can't get in with mick diamond motors for over 4weeks and I desperately need this work doing as it's my daily.

anywhere else recommended east mids area?

DDC Doncaster.. Not East Midlands I know but if your in a rush may be worth the hour or so drive? I've always managed to get booked in within a few days. Quite a few lads on here have used them too, all with good experiences.

Constella in Shepshed, Leicestershire (5 - 10 min drive from Loughborough). They have all the correct genuine tools to do cambelts on the F4R (they re-did mine after K-Tec got it wrong!). Ask for Rob and tell him Tom with the Clio Trophy sent you.

I use a place in Derby called Aarons Autos 01332 205070 they are a renault RS specialist.
They did my Cam belt kit and dephaser last month and prices are reasonable.

2010 racing at Little Eaton Derby are good. They race a couple of cars in the Clio Cup series so are used to working on them. Also Diamond Motors at Long Eaton, Nottingham.

really wanted mick at diamond to do my work but a 4weeks waiting list wasn't an option.

also thanks for you input and recommendations but again due to waiting times in the end I had to bite the bullet and go to someone who wasn't known as (recommended)

I've used them before for minor work and no complaints and always a fast turn around.

I made him prove to me that he had the correct cam locking tools etc lol and he also assured me by giving me a 1year personal warranty on all the work carried out!!
