Ebay xenon style lights

  172 Cup
Phillips make the best H7 bulbs i have found, although theres a wide market with quatily bulbs. The Phillips vision plus bulbs are about 25 - 30 quid.

Sorry for being a thicky but, what is it that makes the xenon lights xenon. I mean, is it the fitting or the bulbs themselves? can you make a normal car xenon by just buying xenon bulbs ie H1, H4 and H7? sorry if this is a daft question I just dont really understand

ah right! is there anypoint getting the xenon gas fitted bulbs? just wondered if theyre anygood in comparison to normal xenons or whether they are worth the money

ive always found them ''50% brighter'' bulbs to be bullshit from previous experience.

i bought a xenon conversion kit from america for 200 quid for my old pug, they were mega dazzling bright. awesome, brighter than my 182 xenons.

Xenoms are noticably better. Real xenons work from xenon gas and not from a filament, and omit very liile heat but more light. This means they are very effiecent. They also give a more crisp light than Halogen bulbs. Best way to see is to line the two different ones up together.
I love my xenons. They have a great look to them.

Normal halogen bulbs are filled with xenon gas because it makes them burn better and give a slightly better light and maybe life, a actual xenon doesn't have a fillament, a xenon bulb creates a arc of light and the light produced is much brighter and produces many more lumens than a halogen bulb, the arc is ignited by a high electric voltage across two electrodes. This voltage causes a spark to arc, charging the mixture of noble gas and a matalic vapour in a quartz glass sleeve then a lower voltage then maintains the arc, i will post a pic of my bulb if i can find it

I recently got these type of bulbs and I honestly think they give better visibility at night than my previous standard bulbs. Girlfriend thinks so too

HID's do give out more light than standard halogen bulbs, although standard halogen bulbs have got much better these days withe the demand for better light they will not surpass xenon technology
