Not sure if this might help anyone but...
Bought a code reader off ebay. Its Geniscan GS100 if you want to google it.
Tried it out last and it appears to work well. I only had one fault downloaded regarding the knock sensor. This makes sense as the emissions light has been on in the past and that can be related it appears.
Also I don't always use super unleaded which I guess means the knock sensor is more likely to kick in.
I am not sure if you can reset the ecu, still learning.
