ecu removal on 2000 plate 1.2 16v ?

am i right assuming the ecu is located on the inlet side of the engine on these ??
could someone tell me how to remove it please ?

pics? It's usually just attacked via a bracket to the chassis somewhere.

Its on the back of the engine/inlet manifold. Get the tamper proof cover off the conectors on top and it will just bolt to the back with some 10mm bolts.
