Eibach 1*2 Springs

Just a quick one.

I have a friend that has a set of eibach springs for a ph2 sport, would these fit my 1.4 w reg clio? not sure if the shocks are the same.

Can anyone help, thanks.

they're designed for all mk2 Clios bar the 1.2 so they'll be fine for you

Right well today me and a friend fitted the rears no problem 15mins tops for that.

Fronts proved a problem with getting the top mount nuts off. Finally got one undone by removing the nylon. The other one now has a split thread where the allen key goes in. So thats got a mullered bolt plus a damaged thread.

So i now need a new shock and 2 top mounts if they are sold seprately.

Does anyone have any ideas how now to get this shock off.

I may need to get pics if my description isn't very clear.

Sounds like you'd have been better having someone who knows what they are doing deal with the front suspension.
