Pro dampers are sweet! I thought about adapting the pro-damper kit to fit the 182 before going for the leda's

How long does it take to fit a set of springs? Wondering if it could be done on a Saturday or would need to be done during the week?

Nick,

ffrom what i can gather they should drop about 20-30mm, I'm sure Andy or Gary will be able to confirm.

Eibach's book lowering amount is 30mm but from experience it seems to be more like 20mm with the Pro's and 30-35mm with the sportlines. Pro's for go and sportlines for show tbh.

Yes they are available for the megane, price is similar to the 172/182 springs iirc.

How much do the "Sportline springs- to fit most Clio’s 91-98 (please specify) £93.33 (Eibach RRP Inc VAT) Our Price- £74.66" lower the front by?

*EDIT*

Just seen Garys post...30mm-35mm.

How much is P&P?

Uww, I could be interested in some Pro dampers, I've already got the Pro springs.

Does anyone know how well these two work together?

Would the car be any lower with these new dampers or the same as it is now on standard dampers?

Same height I think mate, unless they are shortened.....not really sure. The pro-dampers are designed to work with the Pro springs....abroad they sell them as a kit; 'Pro-System'.

Cheers Gary, so would that setup be as good as say KW coilovers, H & R or Gaz?

What would change in respect to handaling and ride quality with these dampers as compared to my standard ones with those springs?

:)

I cant really comment as I have never personally experienced the pro-system. However, imo i think they will be almost as good as the H&R's; remember they are non adjustable so its only the height adjustment that sets them apart really.

Eibach are world reknown for quality suspension and they will work much better than the O.E. damper especially as they are known for failing (leak!). The ride will be better than what you currently experience as the dampers are uprated and matched to the springs. O.E. renault dampers are not designed to be used with an aftermarket spring so there is compromise in your current set up.

Hope that helps mate

Yes....Do you think i would get them for mine if i didn't think so.

The eibac dampers and springs will offer a firm balanced ride that will be just as good as the coils. They won't break your bones on a pot hole!

We'll see how they go on track...

I'm wondering if the pro dampers would be a good buy as well seing as I also have the Pro springs. But not sure if I can justify buying them tbh

Do it POW, the O.E. ones are crap and the Eibach pro dampers will work very well with your current springs!!

...the price is right also ;)

Just a might here... but i might go for the Pro-Dampers..

Student loan not due for a bit..... but will explain to dad that i will be saving £80 because its a group buy.

i currently got the Pro-Kit springs, so this will be the cheapest option for me :) Im guessing they do fit the 172 Cup aswell?

Yes and do it...

I've got apex springs and they will be fitted along with these.

How much would a garage charge to get the dampers fitted?

Anyone know the charge at GDI? Andy / Bex feel free to PM me a price.

Cheers.

50-70£ i'd imagine, you can easily do it yourself tho! But then you mite want to get it laserligned.
