No I fitted them to another members car, imo you cant go wrong with eibachs but personally and would get the sportline kit.

they are good springs as long as you dont want the car to be lower - When I put them on the car looked hardly any different - go for the sportlines in my opinion still only lower it about 25-30mm which is about right.

Question:

What's the drive like when comparing the Pros to the Sportlines?

Why are the Pros always more expensive? Are they more progressive?

Oms. :)

I've had the Sportlines on mine now for about 6 months.

They are awesome!!! Yes there is a small drop, I'd say about -30mm. Basically it stops the car looking like a 4x4. They are progressive springs so the ride quality in general is not harsh. Start to throw it around a bit more and the (progression) spring handles excellently. Very little body roll. IMO one of the best mods for the money anyone can do.

Compared to the Prolines? Don't know, haven't ever experienced them.

On the box Sport's say -50mm drop (compared to what I don't know). But its not that low, not harsh, excellent feel.

Go for it.....Sportlines all the way......

I've got prolines on my mk1 172 and they are great.

Car looks a touch lower but its hardly noticible, which was a good thing for me as I didn't get them to lower the car, i wanted better ride and handling.

Ride quality has improved dramatically, probably to do with the fact ive replaced all the shocks as well but bumps are a lot softer now, not crashy like before.
