Eibach springs not made by eibach?

Car  clio 172
Hiya everyone. I thought you might find this interesting... or maybe everyone knew except me! Anyway, I was trying to get some sportline springs (the eibach factory is in california, my side of the pond). Much to my surprise, it turns out they have to be shipped from germany! Since sachs does make the eibach shocks, i was wondering if they actually make the springs for the 1·2 as well. How about that!?

eibach is a german company, the main factory is in germany, the eibach factory in the USA is small compared to the german one!

hahaha, im a dork! eibach sounds pretty german... but a lot of things in the states sounds pretty german as well! Now, please proceed to tape my mouth shut!

sachs = german too (they make all the stuff for porsche etc etc)

you'll probably find sachs and eibach maybe owned by the same parent company, a bit like honeywell own garrett, brembo etc etc etc (i think)

basically all the good s**t is made in europe! ;)
