electric mirror control!

L

lenny85

went to adjust mirror yesterday after someone clipped it in car park:mad: and the mirror control stalk snapped off in my hand! Was wondering whether to get a new unit from renault(at no douubt an extortionate price) or take my chances with one from a scrap yard. also, how difficult is it to remove the driver side door cards?

That's nasty, I knocked one of my mirrors flush with the body (backward) and it still works fine..

As with everything Clio. Pull and yee shall dismantle.

You shouldn't need to remove the door card to change the switch really.

To remove the doorcard, take the trims off top left and top right. Remove the little cap in the puller (to shut door) then remove the T20 in there, remove the switch pack and disconnect the block plugs. Remove the T30 holding the inner handle on, remove cable from handle, remove handle. Remove all 4/5 T20's along the bottom of the doorcard. Remove the speaker grill, then the T20's holding the speaker in, unclip speaker (not necessary just easier) pull towards you, chances are it'll be tight.
