electric window fuse ?????

guys were the hell is the electric window fuse ! cause its not in the fuse box ! i heard it pop while i was messing about with some wires in the door but i cant find it ! and my alcantera is getting wet

Open the passenger side and there there.

its not in the fuse box though edde checked them all and spoke to renault ! they think its under the dash somewhere

I found one in the fuse box marked as for electric windows, but when I took it out only the passenger side on stopped working and my drivers side one still went down. Which was very annoying since it was broken at the time, and didn't want to go back up! grrr.

The drivers side has the relay in circuit somewhere for the one touch operation, could have damaged that though would have thought they would still use the same fuse. Doubt its gonna be with the fuses under the bonnet.

i heard something pop under the dash but cant find anything ! when i press button the relay clicks but no movment hmmmmm but i know the moter is ok cause i tried one of the other car ant it still dont work grrrrrr

At the time my drivers would go down but only sometimes went up. To make it go up I just pissed about with the button until it obliged. Often I ended up pushing the button down and holding it and then the window went up!!!?

When I took it into Renault they replaced the UCH and that fixed it properly.

please guys help us out ! anone had box problems on a 172 cup ? knocking on hard lock when cold but goes when warm !! sounds like diff to me

The UCH is some little computer thing that controls the cars electronics, I think. I'm sure I saw it on the left in the passenger footwell when I was looking for something else the other day - actually said UCH on it iirc.

yeah they are in the passeger foot well under the dash, had a the xenon lights one knock a few times.

the uch controls things like the one touch windows and auto headlights etc.problem is that the uch is fused through so many different things.the only real solution is to go through every fuse,im pretty sure you'll find one that by the symbol on the cover is totally unrelated but will be the culprit!any fuses for the uch also check

is that the one with three plugs going into it ? and controls the immob cause i had that one out and it didnt make a difference but i can hear it all clicking ? doing my head in now

fixed it ! swapped ech from other car and keys,ecu,wiring and window reg and even the one touch works yeeeehaaa
