Electric wing mirror moving by itself

Just wondering if anybody else has had this wierd problem. I've done a search but couldn't see any similar threads.

Basically my passenger wing mirror sometimes moves by itself when I'm driving so that it's pointing fully away from the car. I can't see the side of the car at all.

It happened yesterday and today and I get the feeling that it's the cause of my limp mode. Both yesterday and today when I got the limp mode I noticed the mirror had moved. I can still operate the mirrors normally through the controls.

Any ideas anybody?

hehe I was going to say that I don't have a ghost in the car as well :rasp::rasp:

and i'm also not subconscienciously the controls while i'm driving either
