Electrical fault light????

Hiya Fellas/Ladies,

I've had my Clio now for 6 months. Every 800-1000 miles the electrical fault light comes on, it's only on for about 5 mins then goes off again until another 800-1000 miles.

Any clues? It's just done 40k miles and it's a Y/01 reg 1.2 16V sport.

It's due for it's service end of June-ish but should it be something for me to take in now or wait till the service?

Sounds like a early reminder that something is going wrong. Have you had any thing replaced on it before like a new coil pack or spark plugs etc. The 1.2's have a thing about plugs and like to eat through a set and this could cause the light to come on.

Dont know why its only coming on after a certain number of miles though?

Get it booked into Renault so that they can hook it up to there machines and read off any faults.
