Hi All,
Have just purchased a 04 Clio Sport 172 for a bit of fun, and wow it really is!
I'm having a rather scary electrical fault which is causing the car to loose all electrics....lights, windows, indicators etc etc, not good at night! There are no warning lights on the dash, Ive read numerous people talking of the electric fault light which I have never seen.
When you start the car there is a funny ticking noise from the centre of the dash/passenger side it does this sometimes when you do something electric related also.....turn the wipers on for instance.
My initial thought was that something is shorting out, all fuses are okay so I was thinking it could be caused by the aftermarket head unit which has been fitted (quite badly), or my horn. The horn hasn't worked since I got the car and I've heard people talk of a small wire that can break easily and would require some minor solder.......any thoughts?
My instinct suggests taking it straight to Renault where I know they understand the car.....driving at night and loosing your lights is not fun!
Any help would be great.
Cheers
