Electrical problem?

Happy christmas all...

I own a 182 and for the past few days the stop light and battery light keep flashing on the dash board and I'm unsure as to what the problem is and how to get it fixed can anybody help, has anybody had the same issue?

Check alternator output as it sounds like it on its way out.
