hi all, im having the exact same problems again as i did before, dash clocks ( instrument cluster ) tripping out on start up and its some how draining my battery making the engine hard to get started.

last time it was a broken wire, which i had repaired properly ( clean solder join and heat shrinked )

now its back again, when i go over any type of bump, i can see the dash display and climate control screen flicker.

as usuall, i have checked every earth that i can see.

( if theres any hidden ones PLEASE let me know! )

worst case, i am thinking my UCH has fucked up?

help apreciated thanks.

UCH doesn't power the clockset so rules that one out mate. It's going to be power, earth or CAN related but without seeing I don't know where to suggest you start other than at the last place it was repaired.

ugghh, this is racking me off! i hate this car! :(

iv checked the repaired area and its still good and strong!

all ive done is took the injectors out and had the head off recently.

all way fine till this bloody morning. noticed the climate sensor buzzing slowly rather than the usuall high pitch buzz.

one last go at it before i dragg it down to one of you traders!

hold on , it only does it when i start te car, could it be the starter motor arcing out? it did have a new one put in just before i got it last year.

Doubt full but check the solenoid control write isn't shorting to ground. It's obviously a write or a connection fault though hence it manifesting itself when you hit a bump.

All plugs/connections are nice and tight and the fuses are correctly secured?

as far as i can see visually,( tugg tested aswell) all the connectors are all plugged and clipped in tightly.

no obv wires shorting out. havent managed to look at the solinoid wire yet as i cannot find my torch.

funny thing is, juat taken it out again and took a few speedbumps abit faster than usuall, its now stop the random electrical crap. all is fine.

im guessing something is lose somewhere hidden out of sight.
