Electronic fault light...

Hi all. Yet another problem has occured with my Clio.

Went to start the car earlier and the electronic fault light flashed up (the one that looks like a heart beat monitor) and the car would not rev. Well thats not true as it would rev by itself? It also sounded really rough.

It should be going into the garage tommorow anyway but any clues in the meantime?

Cheers for the reply, I had thought that might be the case. Hopefully it is that and nothing too major.
