Electronic Incident Warning Light question!

Hi Everyone, I just wondered if anyone has encountered the problem of the Electronic Incident Warning Light on the dashboad before?

My girlfriend's 2001 Clio 1.2 Sport has just come back from its MOT where it had to have its break pads changed, and its now got the above warning light showing. Don't really want to take it to Renaults and not sure I really want to take it back to the garage thats possibly caused the problem, so just wondered if anyone has encountered this problem before and any suggestions on how it may be solved?

I'll try and take a picture tomorrow whens it's light - its shown on page 1.47 in the Clio handbook, and looks like a coil!

When the car is running idol (when you start the car) the car seems to judder - alot more than it used to. It had a slight vibration, but thought that it may have had something to do with the clio's age. Also when driving, it sometimes cuts out - Generally in 1st or 2nd gear, but you dont feel it go. (Doesnt feel like it's stalling)
Any ideas?!

coil pack is the most common thing to go (spark plugs too)

along with, crank sensor, TB, coolant sensor

and about 100pages of fault finding (thats how big the offical renault book is for that car LOL!)

cheers,

At least I've got a bit of an insight as to what the problem might be!
Shame that when they fixed the car yesterday, they weren't smart enough to realise something may have been wrong with it!! its a hazard!! :clown:
