Elf sticker

Car  Clio Dynamique 1.2 16V
Does anyone know how i can get the Elf sticker off my rear window?

I've got all of the other stickers they piled on it when i bought it, but this one seems like it is etched in (although it is not).

I used lotoxane on the others. Any advise?

Cloth soaked in petrol.........but dont smoke at the same time!!:rasp:

I was going to say i removed the dealer sticker from mine but I left the Elf one, most people seem to have left theres on.

Maybe if you don't use Elf oil or petrol... And didn't want to advertise it...

I took mine off BTW. Just peels off like any sticker.

Some are a bit difficult due to the heated rear screen, they kinda melt onto the window. But should peel off. I removed mine. Its a sticker that says elf... why would you want it on the car?

It has been said that no sticker looks like its had the glass replaced ='s rear end ='s prospecive buyer beware..

Personally I would leave it as I wouldnt buy a clio that didnt have one for this reason.

im with Day - thats a pants reason maz

try warming it up with a hair dryer or if you aint got electric just warm it up with a lighter then peel abit at a time.
Only stickers on mine is the tax disc. an still that Accidently falls off ;)

I had the rear tints option on my 197 and it doesnt have the elf sticker or the clio 5 star rating sticker that other mkIII's get. Took me a couple of weeks to notice, cant say i'm bothered.

i would also like to know where you can buy them from, mine is the original so its 7/8 years old now wouldnt mind updating it with the newer design

Thanks every1.

FYI, i just want it off. I took the rest off, and i just don't like having the word elf in my window as i don't personally have any connection with elf.

I didn't want any stickers in my windows, but my dad has provided me with a zunport sticker so i was planning on putting that in the window somewhere, but it doesn't look too great with an elf sticker. Not very symetrical.

I've removed my elf sticker from the back window but now have one on either wing mirror :o

Whoa, been using your time machine?

I think the Elf stickers are ok, and help make the car more original.

LOL, indeed.... was going to get the ELF sticker off the other day and realised that its a little more attached than your average sticker!...
Now i'm in 2 minds whether to take it off, especially if people think you have done it because you have had a replacement rear window!...
Will take photos of car before if i do me thinks...

Mine was starting to peel on one side, so tried to peel the
rest of it off and the bloody thing came off in shreds! :banghead:

Took forever to clean it up but I prefer the window
without it, I'd rather have my CS stickers :)

mine had a bubbled line crease in it, so i took it off with a blade and then acetone on the glue,

Maz... that was a poor

Lol at people worrying taking it off incase they go to sell their cars and someone questions it. Even if someone managed to notice and thought it had been in a rear end crash, I'm sure the first thing they'd do is ask, and/or check the bootwell for signs of repair. I think I'll take mine off too. I've had it on for the sake of it, and I don't see the point. Ness Motors Inverness used to put on one of their stickers every time my Dynamique went in for something, as I kept taking them off. It was annoying as hell!

I would politely tell them to feck off!.... ;)
