if your still in warranty get them to check it out, from memory the manual says it may come on when a fault is detected or your doing high speed for a prolonged period

Its the second decat sensor the sensors detect it the cat reading arn't different enough. If you decat you should unplug the second sensor regardless.
You need a Renault dealership or a garage with the equipment to remove the fault and the light from the ECU. Then remove the ecu sensor or least leave it in but unplug the sensor. The sensor doesn't do anything just check the cats working to the required spec. A sports cat can still pass the Mot (a full decat can still pass the MOT) so I wouldn't worry about MOT time. Give the car a can of the engine cleaner in a fresh tank of optimax and rag the nuts of it before you send it to be MOT'd and you'll be fine.

High speed running doesn't throw the light its just different readings from a failed/different car which set the thing off. On very high speed driving and even on the track you won't throw a emmisions light.
