Does that comma come in a trigger spray bottle? Would be easier than brushing it on.

i used a brush cauz then it kinda brushes the dirt of aswel so works better but you could still use a old spray bottle

Megs APC sprayed on and agitated with a brush and microfibres is all you'll need, wipe off with a clean wet microfibre, then dressed with product of your choice.

Here's the result from the above method:

If you havnt got a pressure washer, just go to the local tescos and stick a quid in and do it there.

  Civic Type S GT
Might seem like a daft question but can you jet wash directly onto an engine and in the bay?

I really wouldnt take a pressure washer straight to the french engine. Just do as above with degreaser and some cloths

  Clio MK 4
i personally wouldnt use a pressure washer. Just use megs apc or auto glym engine cleaner and wipe it all down bit by bit. Then dress it with something like ag bumper care

if your going to spray water anywhere near the engine then you would be better with an open ended hose so the waters not forced out, it's more likely to get into places you don't want it to the higher the pressure is

I've been pressure washing engines for about 10 years (from £50 cavaliers to £20,000 BMW's) and never had a problem.

You will only get a problem if you behave like a r****d.

how far should you go with covering the electrics then ? just the fuse box and battery or overkill and cover as many connectors as you can ?

I've done a few cars, never had a problem either. I tend to cover any major electrics, then spray down with a degreaser, then power wash off. Mint!
