got a cambelt change, jus wanted to kno what then other belt was as it hasnt been replaced and i heard their very expensive to fix if snapped

Power steering pump belt.

Yeah what Mike said, the mk2ph1s have hydraulic (sp) power steering and the belt drives the pump, if it goes you just loose the power steering and it becomes heavier. It doesnt cost much to replace, should be done with the 72k service i think.

Wow!!! How many belts we have on 172 MK2???
I am planning to change the aux belt, do I need to change the power steering belt as well??? Or we only got one on MK2???
