Engine cover paint

Engine bay needs a good tidy up. Got a battery cover coming,just needs the engine cover painting. What paint do I need for doing this? Looking to paint it Orange.

I have used normal rattle can spray paint on mine i did a couple coats of red primer 1 small can, then 2 cans of brilliant Audi red and finished it with 1 small can of lacquer. There is a picture of the end result in the link below just give it time to dry. As mines got a bit of fluff stuck on it from the padding under the bonnet.
