Engine help needed asap please!

i bought a spare head from a 19 16v to do up then put on my clio. The guy fitting it has just rang me up and says it is different. Has a few extra bits and some holes in the back that the clio one doesnt have!!!! I thought the heads where exactly the same!!!???

Please help! Im going to have a look tonight but and ideas would be good!!!!!

ok iv now found out that they are slightly different. Will I need to change bits over from my clio head? Im guessing ill need to fill the extra holes in. what about the large pipe at the back.

should be the same, they have different manifolds i think.

does he mean thermostat housing and the metal water pipe, cos that pipe is an interference fit and will come out (with pursuasion)

yeah its the metal water pipe. He was worried it might snap but managed to get it out ok. There are 2 small threaded holes that are extra. for another water pipe i think. Think they need filling in though. Everything ok now. I was starting to get worried for a minute.
