Engine Issue? 172 cup

Was driving along yesterday and my clio made a bang and started sounding like the above video. Luckily wasn't far from home and managed to get home. Whilst accelerating it was making a lot of popping/banging noises. Any ideas what it could be?

Is there any engine management light on?

Is there a noticeable power drop?

I had a similar sound when I blew a sparkplug clean out my old 106 gti many many years ago.

I didn't notice a power drop and engine management light flashed for a bit before going off.

Stick a code reader on to check fault it should be stored

After about an hour of looking in the cars for my OBDII I found in my bedside table, because where else would you keep it?!

P0303 - Powertrain Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected.

Sounds like it’s blowing through the spark plug hole and down a cylinder

Miby lucky and have worked it's way loose.

Update: Spark plug had been shat out. Was due a service anyway so replaced the lot and all seems well so far.

if it's shat a plug unless you are very very very very lucky thread will need sorting out.
