Engine light ....

Hey.
today I changed the Cat to a sports cat (182 cat on a 172 pipe)

After I finished the engine light has decided to show it's face right away and won't go off.
I did have to force the sensors out of their places quite a bit.
I put a known working spare in the post cat lambda slot in hopes I had somehow killed the sensor. But still the engine light is on.
I did tug at the precat sensor wire a bit to get a hold of it but nothing too hard, could the engine light come on if I damaged the cables on the precat sensor?

Have you got a code reader to clear the fault... you can then see if the light comes back.
