Hi,
I have an early 172, im guessing the engine manage / emissions bulb has been taken out or blown as it doesnt iluminate when i start the car.
the car runs totally fine. it has a stainless exhaust, but the cat appears to be there, but whether it was de catted at any time previously i dont know.
question is, is it worth pulling the dash apart to replace the bulb? what does this measure or monitor what potential faults would this warning light show?
ive seen posts about decats and people saying they just live with teh light on, so how important is it,
again the car runs great.
