I know this has been covered but I cant seem to find a definitave answer anywhere....
Iv got an OBD2 lead that attaches to my laptop now im just after a bit of software to read and remove the fault codes.
Iv been told that VCDS will do it but I dont know the settings that need inputting so it will speak to my ecu...
I know it can be done with CLIP and also with the RStuner, im just after finding out what my faults are and how to clear old faults..
as Iv got a lead i dont see the point in buying a reader off ebay if the software is outthere....
