Engine Management Light on dash :(

The light has just come on my wides car.
It's a 2004, 1.2, the car still drives as normal and does feel any different but the steering wheel symbol has also popped up.

Is a diagnostics the first step or does anyone have any ideas???

Try topping up you power steering fluid?
