Engine Management Light

The engine management light has come on, on my 182, only had it since Saturday, and have RAC warranty so if its anything major ill be covered hopefully.

Anyone have any ideas what it maybe? The car drives absolutely fine, no misfire at all, the light came on after getting tyres changed on the rear, car was jacked on the rear jacking points, MPG may be a little bit down.

I'm thinking it maybe something to do with lambda sensor?

You won't know until you get it plugged in to a code reader.

The light is only there to tell you a fault code has been logged.

Ah right are the £25 code readers actually any good?

For basic engine management stuff they do what is required to read and clear the codes but that's it
