Engine missing

Doesn't happen very often this and it only happens when the engine is cold.

On idle not long after starting the car seems to miss for a second, seems like it runing on 3 cylinders and nearly cuts out, a second after the car picks up again and runs fine. It'll only do it on the very rare occassion but just curious to what might be causing it.

The obvious things would be Plugs, Leads, coil pack etc.

Ive seen it once, took a little tracing but found an air leak from the acoustic valve to inlet plenum & defective carbon canister. I repaired the rubber hose & replaced the canister and its ran fine ever since. Did not try them inbetween so cant say which fixed it lol!! Having a live diagnostic check always helps, its good to see all the set parameter's together at once.

Definitely nothing to do with the acoustic valve as mine hasn't got one lol.

But now you've mentioned the carbon canister, I have noticed there is a slight split in one of the pipes that leads to the canister. Might have a look at doing something with that.
