Engine Noise with Video

Can anyone tell me what the whining type noise is and how i can fix this, more noticeable at the end of the video.

I think its the dephaser pulley mate , but you'd be best to take it to Fred at Btm or Im sure that Ren-tech are very close to you ?

Yep, sounds like a dephaser for the tapping

cant hear much dephaser noise can hear a whining sound which sould like alternator, possibly

hmm, i'll pop down to rentech this week, but in last december i had the cam-belt dephaser and alternator all changed at renault in portsmouth, so shouldn't really be those as new 7/8 months ago and only done about 6k miles

sounds like aux belt lower idler gone dry to me, hard to tell though!

Tapping could be injectors then

what sort of price should i be looking at if its the aux belt idler ?
