Right, few engines noises...i know one is from the "layshift" bearing in my clutch (high pitch noise, usually when cold). I also have a few others, when i rest my foot on accelerator a tiny bit so hardly revving u can hear a little tapping noise, maybe the tappets?
When i first got the car you could hardly hear it ticking over but since thrashing it OR doing more miles on it it now ticks over like a diesel!!
If i took it to the renault garage and said make it quiet would they just rip me off?
