Time to top up my oil supply, anyone know of any deals at the moment?
What engine oil do you recommend for daily and track use?

I'd just get genuine - Castrol now.

Mine has used Triple QX from Euro Car Parts for the past 7 years.

It's RN700/710 spec.

It's not an F1 engine

I tend to use expensive Ester based synthetic oils on my cars that see sustained high revs and heat. The daily just gets more regular service with a cheaper synthetic

Same, I use Gulf Competition 5w40

I just got 5 litres of shell helix ultra 5w40 and a Bosch filter for my civic for 31 quid. The non ultra was even cheaper. Either will be fine I would have thought
