engine problems

hi my clio 1.2 paris has an engine problem it seems to struggle to run it not quite hunts but dies down then comes back up its hard to explain iv narrowed it down to it sucking extra air in around the manifold i have removed manifold and sealed it but the problem there seems to be no cracks or holes in mani fold. this is quite a major problem as it causes the lights to go very dim and after a while of idleing you need to rev it a bit to get the brakes back. Is this a common fault and has anybody know the solution?

Get your battery checked, is it holding charge?

i dont think its the battery as there is no starting problems or electrical problems when the car is switched off the problem only when it is running

problem now worse throttle body opened nearly right up and it struggling to idle any ideas what the problem is?

get it on the diagnostics

just to let you know there was a crack in the manifold right on the end which caused the problem.
