I've browsed the many threads with similar problems but haven't found anything that truly matches my situation.
When the engine is cold and I start my car (dci 80) it kinda 'splutters' I can see it rev between 0-600 for a few seconds until it then moves up to the standard 900. If something is knackered, I did take out a warranty policy - but don't want to go to a garage if it isn't covered...
