engine swap



  clio and civic type r
hi new hear after some info about puttin a 1.8 rsi engine in my s reg 1.2 clio but its the later shape will i need custom mounts and things like that and what about matchin exhaust up basicaly the clio is my run around i want it abit quicker

need the engine loom, ecu, exhaust manifold, engine mounts/custom mounts, also you will need to upgrade the suspension all around as engine will be heavier and faster, plus you will need to upgrade the brakes put discs all around and updated ones to deal with the power. there is more you need as well but aint 100% sure..... i looked into doing this its cost a lot and can have s**t loads of problems was gonna cost a couple of grand and i was doing the work myself. not worth it just get another clio 1.8rsi be cheaper to buy one than swap engines

drums at the back are fine brakes only matter depending how your gonn ause the power stock ones are fine depending how you drive.
