Engine symbol on....

bottom right of dash... not the one with 'stop' in it in the centre. Has come on in my daughters 182. Just says contact dealer. Dealer says don't drive it but can't look at it for a WEEK!!! WTF!!!

any idea what it is??

its probably just a fault with the dash lights, 182s always have this problem.

btw y has you daughter got a better car than you?

'probably' sounds like a big risk to me personally.

Just drive it to the dealer instead of phoning them, and just plead with them to plug the laptop into it so they can at least diagnose the severity of it.

Try to see if all the plugs are well connected at the engine bay.
