Engine warning light help

  work for BMW
I wonder if anyone could help,
I have a 182 cup which I brought from a dealer a couple of weeks ago, suddenly the engine warning light came on, no difference in driving. So I took it back to the dealer and they tried to diagnose it but they couldn't find a fault ,so they have reset the system so the light is now off and told me to wait a week or 2 to see if it comes back on.
Any ideas?they said possible lamba sensor

Cheers

If the engine symbol MIL was on then in short, a fault code would have been logged. Either they didn't want to tell you what the fault was (it happens a lot as a garage doesn't want you to go fix it yourself or take the work elsewhere) or the kit the were using was shite. I've seen a few Launch's struggle with EODB on Renaults before so if they're using one of these bits of kit avoid!
