Anyone know the weight of a 1.2 16v engine + gearbox?

probably around 100kg all in

took 4 ppl t lift mine out with a scafolding bar and struggled id say 150 kg

maybe my first estimate was a bit on the light side, but its no way heavier than a 172 setup, i can pick up a bare 1.2 16v engine, takes 2 to lift a 172 lump (us midlanders aren't that strong btw )

172 lump is 95kg
172 box is 35kg
172 aux bits 30kg tops

Me and a mate could lift a 106 GTi 1.6 GTi engine with box and mani as a guide.

Farking heavy, though.
