The Pork is a much slower car but the driver kept ahead. Kind of the whole point.

The Viper had to get out of the throttle halfway down the straight.

Good vid that. Viper was blatantly the quicker car but the Porker was being a typical Porker.....i.e a b*****d.

I'd imagine that that particular Porsche has probably done away with its rear seats as well. I don't think the roll cage would fit otherwise.....

no the cayman is based off the boxter execpt with a hard roof(coupe)

Its just the 911 thing, must be in the back because thats how its been for 40 year, even if it is a bit dumb and no one else does it.

For me that video proves once & for all that power is nothing without control. The green barge was obviously much quicker in a straight line, but the 911 was much better in the 'twisties' - as such, the barge didnt have a hope in hell of getting past ...

I need to go back to the ring.

They wouldn't be any better...they'd be different. The weight is a hinderance in some circumstances, but massively beneficial in others. Nothing can propel it's self from a corner under power like a 911.

Looks like the Fricadelli Racing Porsche, so it was probably driven by Sabine Schmitz.

Great racing from both, the Porsche especially, dealt better with traffic and maintained enough speed while driving the defensive line
